An impromptu speaking activity was conducted for B.Com I Semester students under General English to enhance oral communication skills. Participants selected random topics and delivered short speeches with minimal preparation, promoting spontaneity and clarity of expression. The event, held in the Language Laboratory, assessed fluency, confidence, pronunciation, and coherence. The activity strengthened public speaking skills, vocabulary usage, and self-confidence among students.
An ICT-enabled Kahoot Quiz was conducted for B.Com I Semester students to assess understanding of core Financial Accounting concepts. The interactive session covered topics such as Accounting Equation, Consignment, Branch Accounts, and Hire Purchase. Students participated in real time using digital devices, fostering engagement and healthy competition. The activity enhanced conceptual clarity, quick thinking, and effective use of technology in learning.
A hands-on workshop was conducted for B.Com V Semester students under the course Income Tax Law & Practice – I to provide practical exposure to essential tax compliance procedures. The session included live demonstrations on PAN–Aadhaar linking, downloading Form 26AS, and navigating the Income Tax Department e-filing portal. Students actively performed each task in the computer lab, gaining real-time experience and clarifying doubts. The activity enhanced their digital tax literacy, practical understanding, and confidence in handling basic e-filing processes.
A Turncoat Debate Competition was conducted for B.Com III Semester students under General English on 05 November 2025. The event enhanced students’ critical thinking, spontaneity, and persuasive communication as they spoke both for and against given topics, fostering confidence and strong public speaking skills.
A structured debate was conducted for B.Com V Semester students under Principles and Practice of Auditing on 05 November 2025. The activity enabled students to critically examine the role of statutory audits in corporate governance, enhancing their analytical thinking, research ability, and communication skills through well-supported arguments and active participation.
A group activity was conducted on 10th November 2025 to analyze the usage and impact of Kannada and Hindi in commercial and social advertisements. Students examined print and digital media examples, enhancing their linguistic awareness, analytical skills, and understanding of contemporary language usage in media.
An Extempore Competition was conducted for B.Com students on 10 November 2025 to enhance spontaneity, confidence, and professional communication skills. The activity strengthened students’ public speaking abilities, articulation, and confidence through on-the-spot speaking on diverse topics.
A collaborative learning activity titled “PESTLE Analysis Challenge” was conducted for B.Com I Semester students on 11 November 2025. The activity helped students analyze real-world events using the PESTLE framework, enhancing their critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of the dynamic business environment.
An intra-class Quiz Competition was conducted for B.Com students under Constitutional Values – I on 11 November 2025. The activity promoted awareness of the Indian Constitution and current affairs, enhancing students’ reasoning, quick recall, and confidence through active participation.
A hands-on learning session was conducted for B.Com V Semester students under GST Law and Practice on 13 November 2025. The session provided practical exposure to the GST registration process, enhancing students’ understanding of GST compliance and strengthening their digital and professional skills.
A Survey Drive was conducted on 15 October 2025 for B.Com III Semester students, providing practical exposure to data collection and analysis while enhancing their analytical and teamwork skills.
