Debate on “Are Statutory Audits Enough to Ensure Corporate Governance?”

 A structured debate was conducted for B.Com V Semester students under Principles and Practice of Auditing to examine the role of statutory audits in corporate governance. Students were divided into teams to present arguments for and against the motion, supported by research and real-world examples. The session encouraged critical analysis, logical reasoning, and active engagement. The activity enhanced students’ understanding of governance mechanisms beyond statutory audits while strengthening their communication and analytical skills
