Turncoat – Spontaneous Debate Challenge

 A Turncoat debate competition was conducted for B.Com III Semester students under General English to strengthen critical thinking and persuasive communication skills. Participants spoke both “for” and “against” a given topic within limited time, demonstrating flexibility in reasoning and spontaneity. The event created a dynamic and intellectually engaging atmosphere, with faculty evaluating clarity, coherence, and confidence. The activity enhanced argumentative skills, public speaking competence, and the ability to think under pressure.
