The Department of English organized a guest lecture on the play "Dance Like a Man" by Mahesh Dattani for III Sem BCom/BBA students. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Grace Lezee Joshua, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Indian Academy Group of Institutions. The event was organized by Ms. Sowmya S., Assistant Professor, Department of English. The venue for the guest lecture was the Seminar Hall on the second floor. Mr. Shehzan welcomed the guest, faculty members and participants. Mr. Satish Kumar , HOD felicitated Ms. Grace Lezee Joshua, the guest speaker.

The first session commenced at 10:45 a.m. and concluded at 11:45 am. A total of 95 students attended the first session. The second session followed shortly. Ms Grace Joshua Joshua gave a fascinating talk on drama, exploring themes of gender roles, family dynamics, artistic aspirations and social pressures.. Her insightful analysis kept the students engaged and encouraged them to explore the themes of the play more deeply. The lecture explored the symbolic significance of characters, actions, and dialogues, enriching the audience's appreciation for Dattani's masterful storytelling.
