Objective :
• To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the basics of cloud computing and the specific features and services offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• To introduce participants to the concepts and benefits of cloud computing and guide them in creating an AWS cloud account.

Outcome :
• Understanding of Cloud Computing: Participants will gain a clear understanding of cloud computing and its advantages over traditional on-premises infrastructure. They will learn about the different types of cloud providers and the unique features of AWS Cloud.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services: Participants will become familiar with the wide range of services offered by AWS, including compute, storage, database, networking, security, and management tools. They will learn about the key AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon VPC, and more.
• Account Creation and Setup: Participants will learn the step-by-step process of creating an AWS Cloud account. They will understand the account setup requirements, including account configuration, security settings, and billing options.

Introduction about the resource person:
Muhammad Mubashir T is a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in computerscience. With experience working as an AWS Cloud Associate at Appin Technology Lab, he has developed expertise in cloud computing and AWS services. Muhammad's dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology contributes to his ability to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. As the main AWS faculty for college workshops in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, he has trained and mentored numerous students, sharing his expertise in AWS. Currently, Muhammad works as an AWS Developer at Techbyheart, applying his knowledge to develop innovative solutions using AWS technologies.

Report or Overall Summary:
Department of BCA in association with IQAC organized a seminar on AWS Cloud for 6thsem BCA students on 7th July 2023 at 1.30 PM. The seminar began with a prayer seeking god’s blessings by Ms. Harshitha N.Mr. Mohammad Mubashir and Mr. Vinashwere the resource person for the seminar who were welcomed by MsJanani , greeted with a bouquet by the HOD and their profile was read by Mr. Susankar Das .The seminar began with Mr. Mubashir explaining about What Cloud Computing is and the services provided by the AWS cloud, more detailed way of explaining VPC, Amazon Elastic Compute cloud(EC2), Simple Storage Service(S3).

Mr. Vinash taught the practical way to create an account in AWS free tier and then creating a root user, IAM user and then web hosting is EC2 and creating S3 buckets. This session was indeed useful, informative and gave us information about various new things.

Mr. Gagan C S of 6th semester BCA ‘A’ section was the EMCEE of the program and Mr. Sudharshan B of VI sem B section took the technical in-charge of the program.
