 Objective: 

The main objective of this program was “to make students understand traffic rules and regulations to prevent and reduce road accidents.

Outcomes:

·To train cadets to regulate traffic near schools, under the guidance of a traffic constable.

·To understand traffic rules better and share their knowledge with other students. 

Report or Overall Summary:

On September 27, 2024, a comprehensive awareness program on traffic rules was organized by the Adugodi traffic police station at the Traffic Police Park, Bengaluru. The initiative aimed to educate participants about the importance of adhering to traffic regulations for the safety of all road users.

The primary objectives of the program included:

·Raising awareness about traffic rules and regulations.

·Highlighting the significance of safe driving practices.

·Reducing traffic accidents through education.

Head Constable Ravi Kumar, an experienced traffic educator, took a session and emphasized the significance of road safety, highlighting the importance of helmets, signboards, different types of marks on roads, and responsible speed limits. He additionally demonstrated proper helmet-wearing techniques and also explained the meaning behind various traffic signs.

The traffic rules awareness program was a significant step towards promoting road safety among the NCC cadets and other participants. Feedback indicated that attendees found the session informative and engaging. Many expressed a renewed commitment to practicing safe driving habits.
