Objective:
• To introduce interior design students to the foundational skills of Adobe Photoshop for enhancing design presentations and visual communication.
• To demonstrate key tools and techniques in Photoshop for creating, editing, and enhancing design visuals relevant to interior design projects.

Outcome:
• Developed proficiency in Photoshop for creating high-quality presentations and concepts.
• Improved understanding of photo manipulation and layout design, essential for professional interior design work.
• Fostered creativity in integrating digital tools with design processes.

Report:
The Department of Interior design organised a Photoshop Masterclass for interior design students across all semesters. The session was held on 12th November 2024, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM in Classroom 401. Prof. Vignesh Prabhu of the BVA department (in-house faculty) led the class, covering essential Photoshop tools and practical applications in design. Students were taught how to edit images, Render floor plans and portfolios, create composite visuals, and apply filters to enhance presentation quality.

This masterclass provided hands-on experience, allowing students to experiment with various techniques directly applicable to interior design. The students were highly engaged and gained valuable insights into using digital tools to elevate their projects.
