The Counselling Cell organized a seminar on " Awareness and Prevention of dating violence" on 23rd October 2024 from 10:50 am to 11:45 am for the 2nd year-BA, BVA,BBA, B.Sc PJC and IDD and 3rd year B.Sc PJC students. A total of 145 students attended the event
facilitated by Dr. Ashwini N.V, Founder and Director of Muktha Foundation and CEO of Flourish Lifeschool.

The event successfully achieved its objectives, empowering students to recognize the signs of dating violence, understand the essential characteristics of healthy relationships, and access valuable resources for intervention and support. Through engaging discussions and
insights, students gained a deeper understanding of psychological entrapment, learned helplessness, and effective prevention strategies. The event fostered a supportive community, encouraging open conversations and promoting empathy. By providing a comprehensive
framework for identifying and addressing dating violence, students are now better equipped to navigate relationships confidently and seek help when needed. There was a Question and Answer session at the end and few students gave their feedback to the resource person.
