Program Highlights:
1. Introduction:
A session on Corporate Strategies was held on 8th October 2024 organized by Department of BCA. The event was designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of corporate strategies and how they drive business success. Through a combination of presentations, case studies, and interactive activities, participants were able to explore the key principles of strategic planning, learn about different types of corporate strategies, and understand how to effectively apply these strategies in real-world scenarios.
2. Welcome Address:
Mr. Antony Pani Vivithan, Student of III Semester BCA, delivered a warm welcome address, emphasizing the importance of the acquiring knowledge about Corporate
Strategies and expressing gratitude to all attendees for their participation.
3. Session by Resource Person:
The session began with an introduction to the concept of corporate strategy, led by Mr. Ibrahim (Alumni), Oracle. The speaker explained the difference between corporate strategy, business strategy, and functional strategy, emphasizing how corporate strategy is essential for aligning a company's vision with its operational goals. The audience was introduced to the importance of corporate strategy in guiding long-term decision-making and helping organizations navigate changes in the market environment. A key discussion focused on the importance of aligning corporate strategy with organizational culture. It was emphasized that a company’s culture plays a significant role in the successful execution of strategies. Strategies that resonate with the company’s values and work culture are more likely to be embraced by employees and executed effectively. 4. Vote of Thanks:
Mr Viswajit, Student of VI Semester BCA, delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the organizers, speakers, and participants for their contributions to the
success of the session.
Conclusion:
The session on corporate strategies was highly informative and engaging, offering valuable insights into how businesses formulate and implement strategies to achieve their objectives. The interactive nature of the workshop allowed participants to apply theoretical concepts to
