Objectives of the activity :
1) To know about the working of stock markets and how to utilize it.
2) To have the basic knowledge in investing in money market and capital market and how to handle it.
3) To ensure equal access to investors all over the country through an appropriate communication network.
4) To establish the nationwide trading facility for equities and debt instruments.
5) To provide a fair,transparent,and efficient securities market to investors using electronic trading system.

Execution Procedure/Details : The virtual Google Meet was been conducted for 5 days with daily attendence form and feedback form aids at last followed by questions and answers session with Quiz for receiving a certificate from SEBI

Programme outcome : Outcome of the program was satisfactory. Students were happy and effectively utilized the opportunity. Students were equipped with knowledge and gained some basic knowledge to invest in stock markets and understood the benefits,advantages and dis advantages what really makes difference in them to stand out from that of the competitors and gave them clarity on the importance of being self-motivated and self-monitored and know the outside economy world.

Brief Summary : Programme started with welcome to the gathering by Ms.Sonal S Shiralkar Student of V Sem. B.Com A&F followed by Welcome Speech by Mr. Nitesh B Seervi, Student of V Sem A&F and guest introduction from Tamilarasi M, Student of V Sem A&F. Mr. Vishlesh K H (Program Coordinator).

Further the Guest Speaker took over the session and delivered a lecture on the topic “Overview of Financial markets in which he tried to explain the followings concepts for 5 days with 5 different topics:
1) The working of stock market exchange,working of broker,trading account, demat account,risk management, KYC of clients, investment vs speculation.
2) Fundamental analysis - Economic Analysis, Industry Analysis and company Analysis with case studies.
3) Mutual Fund-Meaning,types,Merits,working,Role and its benefits.
4) Gold VS Equity
5) Monetary policy and its implication- Role of Central Bank, Monetary instruments, Impact of interest rates on economy, Inflation VS Interest rates.

At last, Students feedback was taken and was asked to attain the quiz based on the topics done and passing students received a certificate from SEBI.
The Session ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Prem J Student of V Sem. B.Com A&F..
