Objective of The Civil Defence Program in India relies on the individual and the locality, building capacities to increase the chances of survival, to minimize the damage, recover quickly and support the response initiatives of the local administration. During times of War and Emergencies, the Civil Defence Organization in India has played a vital role in guarding the hinterland, supporting the Armed Forces, mobilizing citizens and assisting the civil administration with the following objectives like Saving Lives, Property, Minimizing damage, Enhancing Industrial Resilience for Business Continuity, Maintaining Public Morale, Raising Public Awareness and Survival Skills.
