The student council 2023 – 2024 of St. Francis College, to elect its office bearers held the electionlast month, marking a significant chapter in the institution's commitment to fostering student leadership and democratic participation. The process began with the nomination phase, during which aspiring candidates stepped forward to articulate their vision for the student body. This initial step set the stage for a dynamic and engaging election cycle that unfolded over the subsequent weeks.

Following the nomination period, a thorough personal interview process took place on the30th of October. The interview aimed to evaluate the candidates based on their qualifications, leadership potential, and dedication to serving their peers. This rigorous selection process resulted in the shortlisting of 20 students who exhibited exceptional qualities and stood out as potential leaders within the college community.

The momentum of the election process then shifted to the campaign phase, a period of heightened activity and enthusiasm on campus. The culmination of weeks of anticipation and engagement occurred with the declaration of election results. On this day, the college community eagerly awaited the outcomes that would shape the student leadership for the upcoming academic year. The announcement of the 7 successful candidates marked a moment of celebration, acknowledging the dedication and commitment of those who had earned the trust of their peers.

The final step in this democratic journey was the investiture ceremony held on22ndNovember. This event was a formal induction of the newly elected student council members into their respective roles. The investiture ceremony symbolized the passing of the flagship, as the outgoing leaders handed over their responsibilities to the incoming council, signifying a commitment to continuity and the enduring values of student leadership within the college.
