The students of BBA Aviation I semester were scheduled for an airport visit on 13th of January 202 to Salem airport (SXV), Tamilnadu as a part of their curriculum. The visit was successfully carried out for 4 hours. The students visited all the departments like Check in, RAMP- Region of Aircraft movement and parking, SHA- Security hold area, BMA- Baggage makeup area, ATC- Air traffic controller, IMD - India meteorological department and the Fire and safety department. The students were familiarized with all airport operations. A momento and a letter of gratitude also was handed over to Mr Ramesh, Director Salem Airport, AAI.
