Dr. Ramya K has a Ph.D. in Commerce from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India and has obtained her post graduate degree in Commerce (Accounting & Taxation) from Bangalore University and PGDBA from Annamalai University. Her core area of research interest is Human Resources Management, particularly – Competency Mapping on Teaching Effectiveness of Higher Education Institutions.
She handles an extensive range of subjects like Income Tax, Business Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Cost Accounting, Costing Methods, Financial Management, Auditing, Retail Management, Modern Marketing, Organisational Culture and Management Practices and Indian Financial Institutions and Markets. She has also handled Accounting for Managerial Decisions and Goods and Service Taxation for M.Com.
Dr. Ramya was appointed as an Examiner for VI Semester BBM April/ May Viva- Voce examination by Bangalore University. She has also been Appointed for setting Question Paper at Jain University for VI semester B Com Hon, for the subject – Advanced Taxation and was also appointed for setting Question paper at Bangalore City University for III Semester Accounting & Finance, for the subject Costing Methods.
She was bestowed with the "Best Young Researcher Award" by Special Minds India and Kiwi Miles Australia Global Excellence Award in September 2021.
She has published 9 papers in various Scopus, Web of Science and other international journals and presented 9 papers in various conferences. She has participated in various workshops and National and International level Conference and Seminars. Her Strengths are her attitude to take challenges and her way of thinking that she takes both success and failure in a balanced manner.
