Mr. Rakesh Nadig is pursuing his Doctoral Degree in the area of financial inclusion from Bharthiar University. He completed his under graduate and postgraduate degrees in commerce from the University of Mysore in the area of Accounting and Taxation. He obtained his M.Phil. degree from Bharthiar University and pursued master degree in the area of management from Annamalai University. He has been teaching accounting, finance, taxation, banking, research methodology, and human resource papers for under graduate & postgraduate students of commerce and management.

He guided more than 50 Postgraduate research projects. He presented research papers in national and international conferences. He has published around 30 articles and research papers in edited volumes, refereed-UGC CARE listed and Scopus journals. He organized various conferences, workshops, symposiums, and faculty development programs. He is also an editorial board member of special issues and an active member of recognized research forums. Financial inclusion, financial literacy, micro-finance, urban poverty, digital finance, and Indology are his research areas.
