An Assistant Professor of Kannada Language and Literature.
Contemporary Poet, Author, Educationist, Critics, Translator, Reviewer, Research scholar, Theater artist, Environmentalist, Editor and Folklorist.
He is a Kannada author written more Poetry, essays, articles, stories, and reviews that has been published in many journals such as Vijayakarnataka, Vartabharati, Prajavani. Magazines like Taranga and Sudha, E-magazine Avadhi, Kendasampige, Bookbrahma. In the year 2017, the Government of Karnataka has granted to publish his collections of poems titled “Chaithrakshi” in “Kannada Book Authority”. The book has been awarded the title of “Shrimati Sumansomashekhar Somavarapete Datti” by the state Kannada Sahithya Parishattu of 2018.Three of his plays has been directed “Jalagara, Henadabatte and Animal farm.” Interested in the fields of Sanskrit poetry, Buddhism, linguistics, Legislation and archeology, Grammar of Halagannada, Modern and Contemporary Theatre, Performance studies, Folklore and Tribal studies.
He is a NEP BOS member and 3rd and 4th semester BVA & BFA Textbook committee editor at Bangalore University, Jnanabharathi in the year of 2022. His research concentrates upon poetics, embodied cognition, and computational approaches to intellectual history of Karnataka.
Presented and Published 13 International Level paper, 18 national level paper, 12 state level, Attended 32 FDP. As a resource person spoken on many events in the live programs. In 2019 won the first rank in state level “Kannada Rathna” exam which was conducted by “Kannada Sahithya Parishattu”. Presently pursuing Ph.D. in “Tumkuru University.” His poems have translated to Bengali, Hindi, English, Telugu, Chinese languages. He has conducted number of Conference, Seminar, FDP, Workshops and Guest lectures on Literature and Ancient Kannada Language at different colleges in Bangalore. he has conducted online sessions in Kuvempu & Poornachandra Tejaswi Literature to Speech Sounds for Help the IT Employees and Literature Students. He is an Excellent Multidisciplinary faculty and Research scholar.
He has participated as a poet in the 'Dasara International Poetry Festival' in Mysuru (World Famous Festival). a delightful and honorable to be part of this beautiful and thoughtfully curated festival on September 30th, 2022.
