1st Junior National Dodgeball Championship for Boys and Girls – 2022
Karnataka State Dodgeball Association in association with St. Francis College, Koramangala had organized 1st Junior Nation Dodgeball Championship for Boys and Girls from 24 to 26 June 2022.Total 270 players had participated from 15 different state associations. The event was inaugurated on 24th June 2022 by chief guest Mr. Ramalinga Reddy, MLABTM Layout & Ex. Home Minister, Working President (KPCC).

The championship was conducted at St. Francis College, Koramangala in two courts. Adequate transport facilities were arrangedbySt. Francis College, Koramangala from KSR railway station, Majestic bus stand, Yashwantapura railway station and KR Puram railway station to the venue (St. Francis College, Koramangala). The team players, coaches and Team managers were accommodated at St. Francis College building.All the matches were conducted on knock out basis. Teaching, non-teaching staff and 30 student volunteers of St. Francis College took active participation and gave their complete support in the successful conduct of this championship.

Karnataka state team won championship both in boys and girls categories. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra teams secured second, third and fourth place respectively in boys category and Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan teams secured second, third and fourth place respectively in girls category.Prize distribution was done on 26th June 2022 and Dr. V. Lokesh, Registrar (Evaluation), BCU gave away the prizes to all the winners.

Bro. Antony, Director, St. Francis College, Bro. Peter, Deputy Director, St. Francis Colllege and Dr. R. N. Subba Rao, Principal, St. Francis College, Koramangala and Mr. Narasimha Reddy. K, Secretary General, The Indian Dodgeball Federation made their gracious presence throughout the championship.
