Every Year Central Government plans a programme of National Road Safety Awareness month but from this year with the aim of reducing the Road accidents and decrease victims by 50% by the end of 2025, State Government planned to conduct the same program for a month. As a part of this the local Guntur, Deputy Transport Commissioner Mr. E. Meera Prasad are creating awareness in people by going to various institutions, organizations and other places. As a part of it on 12th February 2021 they visited Our College to create awareness among students. Road accidents claim around 10,000 - 12,000 lives in the country every year, including 3500 people who are aged below eighteen, They also stressed on raising consciousness for compliance with traffic rules, cautious movement of the pedestrians on the streets and carrying the accident victims to the hospitals at the earliest possible time. They said that all conscious people should come forward to strengthen the current Safe Road Movement.
